One of the most important ingredients to becoming a successful church is the ingredient called unity. If a church is to survive, prosper and be successful, its members must learn how to get along with each other. People working together for a great purpose don’t have time to argue over trivial issues. Someone said, “When you’re helping row the boat, you don’t have time to rock it.”

Join Pastor Scott Sunday January 17th, in the 9:00 a.m. service and find out how believers who don’t see eye to eye can still walk hand in hand in fulfilling the purposes of God.

Everyone agrees that divorce is one of the worst tragedies plaguing American families today. In fact, famous pollster George Barna’s research shows that divorce in the church is just as common as it is outside the church. In the church 33% of marriages end in divorce – Outside the church the number is 34%.

Dr. Dobson has said, “There are no winners when a marriage begins to unravel.” When divorce happens it leaves in its wake broken hopes, broken hearts and broken homes.

In this series beginning Sunday September 13th Pastor Scott will biblically uphold the Divine principle of lasting marriage, while at the same time offer acceptance, love, help, healing, and a fresh start to those who have been divorced.

I’ve talked to singles who feel like failures because they are not married. Some are inclined to view singleness of life as something subnormal or freakish. You’ll hear statements like: “I can’t take it anymore ? I’m tired of being single.” “Life is passing me by when it comes to my relationship with the opposite sex.” “What’s wrong with me?” “Why doesn’t anyone want me?”

Join me June 28th in the 9:00 a.m. service as I share with you from scripture what the Bible has to say about singleness. Discover that it is a perfectly acceptable and proper way of life and single people don’t have to feel like a round peg in a square hole. Find out that God offers believers single life and married life as a gift and it’s up to the believer to choose.
