God Is Awesome!

God is awesome! Of course you already knew that right? In a world of constant negative thinking, political backbiting, and fears of not being able to pay the bills or buy gas I can still say my God is awesome! How about you? Matthew 6:26 says it simply. “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” I am constantly amazed by my God who always knows what I need. He very seldom lets me have a ”pity party”. When I do He seems to be the only guest that shows up. Just this week I was planning one of “those” parties. I was deciding the menu and making a list of who I was going to invite (though no one ever shows up anyways). Just as I was stamping the envelopes I got an email. This is what it said: A blessing for you today! I declare that as you engulf yourself in the Word of Power: You are strong. You are courageous. You are more than an overcomer. You have peace. You have victory. Your stress is removed. Your confidence, trust and reliance shine forth. This day, you experience the life and power of God through His Word! For greater is He that is in you. As you abide in Him and His Words abide in you, you experience sure hope. Your faith is built up. You have everything you need for life and godliness by His divine power!
Thank you God for coming to my party and bringing the dessert! Like I said, He is awesome!
